DME Statement

Exemplary training is achieved at Montgomery Regional Hospital as a result of talented faculty who are committed to teaching in a small group environment.  Our residents have the opportunity to learn from well-trained and experienced staff.  Many of our teaching faculty have additional training in fellowships such as interventional radiology and cardiology, sports medicine, joint replacement, spinal surgery, geriatrics, palliative care, faculty development and research.

We add depth and value to our GME program thorugh our affiliation with two local medical centers, VCOM and two major universities.  Furthermore, we have integrated behavioral science training into all of our residency programs giving our residents critical relationship skills and a better understanding of the role of human behaivor in the practice of medicine.
